Regina is a Ghanaian social entrepreneur and software developer harnessing the power of technology to promote social change in West Africa.

She is the Founder and CEO of Soronko Academy, a leading technology and digital skills development center in Africa. At Soronko Academy, Regina equips young women with the technical and soft skills they need to attain dignified, fulfilling jobs and overcome the gender gap in technology.

Soronko Academy is also cultivating the next generation of female innovators who leverage their critical thinking skills and entrepreneurial spirit to create solutions that address their community’s most pressing problems.

The academy, which is the first coding and human-centered design academy in West Africa, has trained over 20,000 women and girls and has expanded to train boys, men and children with disabilities.

Regina has won multiple awards for playing a lead role in bringing women and girls in Ghana into the ICT space.
In 2017, she was listed as one of BBC’s 100 most inspirational and innovative women.
