Ken is a Kenyan tech entrepreneur, scale-up coach, and digital evangelist.
He is widely known for his role in co-founding Cellulant, a Pan-African fintech giant connecting entrepreneurs and innovators across Africa through seamless digital commerce.
Ken served as Cellulant’s Group CEO for more than 17 years, steering it to unprecedented growth, currently operating in 35 African countries with millions of end users.
As Cellulant’s founding CEO, Ken led the company from an idea sketched on a serviette in 2002 to a reputable company in Africa with more than 350 employees across 11 markets.
The Kenyan entrepreneur has since shifted his focus to Pani, a boutique investment firm empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and the startup ecosystem in Africa. His firm offers executive coaching and cash investments to promising founders in exchange for equity.
