Empower Africa hosted a “Driving Business in Africa” Investors’ Breakfast and round table discussion at the Harvard Club of New York City during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week in NYC. The breakfast, which took place on September 27th 2019, gave attendees a chance to hear about the investment and business landscape in Sierra Leone from senior government officials shaping the country’s economic future. The event was attended by representatives of international companies operating in the agriculture, tourism, energy, and finance sectors.

Now Is The Time For Sierra Leone - Ezi Rapaport At The Empower Africa Agriculture Trade Mission

On November 5th, 2019 Empower Africa CEO Ezi Rapaport took to the stage of the Empower Africa Agriculture Trade Mission Conference in Sierra Leone. In an unprecedented speech, Ezi uplifted and kicked off the Empower Africa Trade Mission with his tremendous hope for a brighter future for the people of Sierra Leone and the private sector. Empower Africa is pleased to announce the success of its first Agriculture Trade Mission to Sierra Leone, which took place on November 5-7. The Trade Mission included a diverse delegation of 10 leading international agribusiness executives who met with over 200 local attendees consisting of the private sector, NGO’s, and senior leaders of the Sierra Leone Government. The mission analyzed many challenges and opportunities in the country and outlined specific commercial agriculture projects that could develop and diversify the economy and enhance food security.
