Polo Leteka

Polo is a highly accomplished and experienced entrepreneur and private equity investor on a mission to bridge the gender financing gap in Africa.

An accountant by training, Polo is the Chair and Founder of IDF CAPITAL, a South African-based entrepreneurial financier and advisory firm. She is also the Co-Founder of Alitheia IDF, a women-focused PE fund that drives growth in African SMEs by leveraging gender-balanced businesses.

Before moving into the private sector, Polo also worked in the public sector.
She is credited with leading South Africa’s first-ever Codes of Good Practice development on the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment policy.
