Her visionary leadership and innovative initiatives have driven positive change and created a brighter future for countless young people in Zambia.

Mara is doing this through Jacaranda Hub, a non-profit organization that aims to develop young people by providing collective services, infrastructure, and specialized tools for aspiring MSMEs with growth potential.


Founded in 2017, Jacaranda Hub provides a conduit of resources and programs delivered through the hub and partners targeted at improving the startup/ MSME landscape.

Mara’s contributions to youth empowerment in Zambia have earned her recognition, including being named 50under50 Female Trailblazer Africa and the Middle East at the Female Founders Initiative Awards.
