Mara is a Zambian social entrepreneur and ecosystem builder passionate about empowering the next generation by ensuring access to quality education, skills training, and mentorship opportunities.
Her visionary leadership and innovative initiatives have driven positive change and created a brighter future for countless young people in Zambia.
Mara is doing this through Jacaranda Hub, a non-profit organization that aims to develop young people by providing collective services, infrastructure, and specialized tools for aspiring MSMEs with growth potential.
Founded in 2017, Jacaranda Hub provides a conduit of resources and programs delivered through the hub and partners targeted at improving the startup/ MSME landscape.
Mara’s contributions to youth empowerment in Zambia have earned her recognition, including being named 50under50 Female Trailblazer Africa and the Middle East at the Female Founders Initiative Awards.
