Benjamin Fernandes

Benjamin is a Tanzanian technology entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of NALA Africa’s first mobile money application that allows users to make transactions without an internet connection.

Born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Benjamin is passionate about people, technology, and design.

He dreams of helping create the next big thing in software and financial technology in Africa. He is actualizing the desire through NALA, a fintech with an African-first approach with a global African community at the center of it.

Benjamin is the voice behind #BuildOurAfrica, a conversation stemming from his belief that Africans will build Africa the way they want it.
