Clare Akamanzi

Clare has a wealth of experience in the private and public sectors, having worked in various capacities at the World Bank Group and the International Finance Corporation.

She is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rwanda Development Board (RDB), a government agency responsible for promoting Rwanda’s economic growth and investment opportunities.

At RDB, Clare has been pivotal in promoting Rwanda’s economic growth, investment opportunities, and tourism industry. Under her leadership, Rwanda has become one of Africa’s fastest-growing economies, with a focus on sustainability and inclusivity.

Her dedication and vision have earned her numerous awards and honors, including being named one of New African magazine’s 100 most influential Africans in 2021.
