Flavien Kouatcha Simo

Flavien is a Cameroonian agricultural engineer and entrepreneur passionate about agriculture and committed to the development of Africa.

He is the Founder of Save Our Agriculture, a start-up helping Cameroonian farmers improve their yields and incomes by producing four times more vegetables and fish in small areas.

Founded in 2015, Save Our Agriculture specializes in the conception of aquaponic kits used for vegetable production – above ground and without chemical fertilizers.
Flavien also believes in empowering the youth and creating jobs through agriculture.

At Save Our Agriculture, he has embarked on a mission to ensure that Africa is food secure by putting innovation at the service of the food industry on the continent.
He has collaborated on projects with international organizations, including FAO and the International Organization for Migration to feed more than 250,000 people every year.

Flavien is today considered a pioneer of sustainable agriculture in francophone Africa, with his contribution to Africa’s agriculture ecosystem earning him several prestigious distinctions.
