Seynabou Dieng is a remarkable social entrepreneur who has dedicated her efforts to positively impacting agricultural value chains.

With a passion for empowering farmers and transforming the agricultural sector, Dieng has emerged as a leading figure in sustainable development and innovation.

Through her initiatives, she aims to uplift rural communities, promote food security, and create a more inclusive and resilient agricultural ecosystem.

Dieng’s journey as a social entrepreneur began with a clear vision: to address farmers’ pressing issues in accessing markets, resources, and technology.

She founded MAYA, a food processing business in Mali, integrating local producers into its value chain.
Through this venture, she has spearheaded numerous projects to empower farmers and strengthen their position within the value chain.

Seynabou is also a Private Sector Advisor at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
