Tesi Rusagara

Tesi has over a decade of experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development.

She is currently serving as the Managing Director of Kigali Innovation City, a technology and innovation ecosystem being developed in Rwanda to drive economic growth and development in the country and the East African region. The ultimate goal of KIC is to create an innovation-driven economy in Rwanda that provides opportunities for job creation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer.

As the Managing Director of KIC, Tesi is responsible for overseeing the strategy and operations of the innovation ecosystem, which brings together startups, established companies, universities, and research institutions to collaborate, innovate and drive economic growth in Rwanda.

Tesi, who previously served as a Venture Fellow at Mustard Seed Impact, is passionate about leveraging technology and innovation to drive sustainable development in Rwanda and beyond.
